Philosophy of Teaching

Every student receives a well-rounded music education which combines music theory, history, and technique. This rich curriculum is paired with weekly encouragement to develop a disciplined practice habit. It is my personal belief that practice and discipline can take every student as far as they want to go in the mastery of their instrument. As J. S. Bach said, “What I have achieved by industry and practice, anyone else with tolerable natural gift and ability can also achieve.”
